In the Appreciation of Slow and Sometimes
I started this blanket, my knitting diary, nearly two years ago. The idea comes "The Yarn Harlot's Guide to the Land of Knitting", it is the "Traveler's Life Afghan". Yes, I love traveling, I love knitting and I think that you just can't have too many woolen blankets.
It is a great way to use up your yarn leftovers from all those projects in your life and a beautiful trip down knitting memory lane when you look at it later, like: Oh here that scratchy spring cardigan and there this hat for my father-in-law and here that was during the soccer world cup when it was really hot... and ooooh here sweet summer travels and baby knitting.
And even though my progress on the blankie is slow right now, these are precious rows.
Since the birth of baby Carolina.
A Multnomah shawl, some EC pants, a baby bonnet, pants for Annie and some women's art project. Not too bad.
