The last fruit & vegetable box before the holidays!
fruit: apples, pears, bananas, cherries
veg: asparagus, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, scallions, cauliflower, beetroot (even the distributor avoided tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce this week..., I still eat it)
And before five weeks of restaurants and yoga festival food start, I totally channeled my creative activities into my own kitchen. Very inspired by Heidi Swanson's blog and her new cooking book, I roamed the local ethnic shops for special spices and interesting ingredients. Results that not only pleased my own palate but were also very much appreciated by the man in the house - tastes better than wool!
(Clara is definitely not a spice girl yet...)
